This is a new class for people who speak English quite fluently but need to learn how to discuss topics in depth to improve their argumentative skills and logical thinking in English.
The Intermediate English Communication Course includes 24 sessions over 3 months. By the end of the course, students will be able to discuss common topics in English with depth, confidently communicate with clients and foreigners in both work and daily life, and improve their reflexive speaking skills and logical thinking in English.
-Course Outline: Starting with common everyday topics, the class will focus on 90% communication and 10% teacher-led knowledge. Our teaching method emphasizes practical expansion, with homework assignments and integrated grammar through conversation. This ensures that students can both speak effectively and understand basic grammar.
-In the group, the teachers and teaching assistants will be responsible for grading assignments, providing feedback, and answering any questions students may have.
Students will need to write assignments, complete homework (such as videos, answering assigned questions, etc.), practice pronunciation through apps, and submit their work on time for the teacher to grade and provide feedback.
-The number of students will be 6-8 (not exceeding this number).
- The tuition fee for both OFFLINE and ONLINE classes is 4,500,000 VND for 24 sessions (including the course materials). The ONLINE group will have 4-6 students.
- Each lesson lasts 90 minutes, during which the teacher will call on students and explain the lesson directly, along with providing corrections in the group.
- The tuition fee is to be paid in full via bank transfer.
- The offline class location is at 03 An Mỹ 3 (near the Love Bridge).

The class will focus 100% on communication, listening, and speaking reflexes. In addition, there will be exercises for listening practice, pronunciation practice, and discussion question-and-answer exercises to do at home. The focus will be on three main goals: LISTENING, SPEAKING, and PRONUNCIATION.
Depending on the class level, we will adjust the difficulty of the practice questions, and based on your level, the teacher will ask questions related to the lesson. We will delve deeply into each person's profession and experience, ensuring that students learn both general knowledge and job-specific knowledge.
Our course lasts 3 months, with the following goals: basic communication and listening for beginners (BEGINNER level), advanced listening and speaking for basic-level students (BASIC level), and debate and discussion for intermediate-level students (INTERMEDIATE level). For this level, we have native-speaking teachers.
The course will focus on familiar everyday topics, enabling you to listen, ask, and respond in conversations about daily life and use English for work communication (for specialized fields, additional self-study outside class time is required, along with participation in our weekly English Club to interact with foreigners).
Ultimately, it depends on your focus and commitment to maintaining the class as well as your ability to self-study listening exercises and practice at home. The more you listen and speak, the better you'll get, and the more you read, the better you'll read.
Language is a form of learning that requires daily practice. Listening and speaking every day will lead to significant improvement over time. However, if you take a break and come back to study later, you'll notice you’ve lost progress, even regressed. The key here is: if you commit to learning, make an effort to practice, learn, and refine your skills, listening and speaking daily, combined with participating in the English Club to practice real-life communication.
Personally, I don’t want students to focus too much on textbook knowledge because it can be academic, hard to absorb, unrealistic, and difficult to apply.
Communicating in English is like communicating in Vietnamese. The ultimate goal is to speak, communicate, and exchange information. Therefore, I focus on real-life communication situations, where students learn to speak what they learn and apply it directly. In Vietnamese, we communicate in a certain way, and in English, it’s the same—just with a different language.
These are insights based on our experience and practical learning. I hope this can be helpful and spread value to everyone.
LEARNING OUTLINE FOR INTERMEDIATE LEVEL CLASS:
Free talk (Ask the teacher about a specific topic (20 minutes))
Vocabulary (Not taught using traditional methods—taught through Q&A related to new words, ensuring students not only know the meaning but also know how to use the words in specific communication situations)
Practice deep discussion on the topic (in pairs or groups + teacher supervision and support)
Debate (debate in groups)
Homework includes:
Recording questions related to the lesson
Practicing pronunciation through Elsa
Listening practice
Voice training
I rotate the amount of homework throughout the 3 months. We ensure that whatever students learn, they can immediately apply in listening and speaking.
